Liber Eximo Carnem: Volume 2 (forthcoming)

Volume 2 picks up where Volume 1 of Liber Eximo Carnem left off. If you recall, in the previous volume the initiand is prepared by the sorcerer for the initiatory ordeal of crossing over the threshold. As part of this process, the individual is invited to create points of contact through physical reference to a range of entities previously mentioned in the Black Dragon series. At the heart of this introductive phase, lies a single intent to heat points of contact so that the initiand can have meaningful interaction with those involved.

In Volume 2 of Liber Eximo Carnem: The Enchiridion for Summoning Familiars of the Proklosis Ring, the sorcerer continues to guide the initiand through a range of actions and interactions with the intention of gradually intensifying every point along the Proklosis Ring. With a view to divesting form of its substance, each familiar is consequently addressed, while at the same time their attributes are reviewed for the purpose of wanting to inculcate the initiand with their essential qualities. The strength of this revelatory transference allows the candidate to accrue gnosis to a point of where saturation brings understanding about how to effectively step across the threshold into the Toad Queen’s domain.

The purpose of such an exercise is to ensure the initiand presents him/herself at the threshold with his/her own retinue of Otherness, for once assumed they are drawn upon once the crossing is made. It is, therefore, important for the initiand to become conversant in the knowledge of each familiar and how these spirits carry with them attributes, that when applied, convey a dedicatory purpose for indulging the Black Dragon’s iconoclastic negation.

Overall, Volume 2 addresses how to approach and entreat the familiars assigned to each point of the Proklosis Ring. Considered to be reflective and educational for the potential candidate, Liber Eximo Carnem Volume 2 divulges the nature of the candidate’s relationship to his/her Otherness.
