Statement on Selection and Community Integrity
The Occult Library is committed to the task of fostering & developing a resource devoted to openness. Furthermore, The Occult Library seeks to make no judgements on matters of quality, taste, or veracity regarding the materials, publishers, artists, and figures featured here.
Nonetheless, The Occult Library stands firmly and resolutely against all forms of racism, xenophobia, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and the like. We welcome with open arms the diverse spectrum of folks from across the occult community.
In turn, The Occult Library maintains the unequivocal right to either refrain from including, or remove, any materials, authors, artists, or figures who champion, display, or amplify the above traits.
Whilst we always make a concerted effort to vet and discern these qualities, this task cannot always be accomplished clearly or comprehensively. In turn, we would like to empower our readers to please reach out and inform us of instances of the above. We are fully prepared to take your information into consideration, and we will carry out a full investigation of the materials or figures at hand.
Our goal from the outset has been to promote the free and open exchange of community information, mainly in hopes that this community will grow, learn, and be enriched.
To the extent that literature or multimedia materials damage the fiber, safety, and integrity of this community, they will not be given consideration or features on our site.
