Femme Occulte: 2022 Issue 11 Autumn - Taste

After the fiery summer season, we are entering the waters of autumn through the river flowing from the garden of the occult woman into all worlds. An imaginary boat takes us high into the spheres of three sefirot, Chesed, Geburah, and Tifferet, over which the sun shines and watches the reign of two kings. It also keeps an eye on the adventurous development of the young Prince of Cups. He offers us a taste of the drink of immortality.

Luna also adorns Heaven. She mirrors herself on the surface of the Lake to peer beyond the fan of the Eastern esoteric tradition. She presents herself in all her phases, revealing our deepest connections to the correspondences of the natural world.

The Wheel of Cerridwen turns a bit again through the flow of words. In addition to the sense of taste, our visual senses will be delighted by an interview with one of the fascinating Czech pagan artists. The creation of magical ceremonial mixtures will tantalise our sense of smell.

On our return to the shore, we delight our taste buds with a selection of autumn recipes as we sail past lush beds of aquatic plants and mushrooms, next to which the wavy leaves of a strong and majestic oak tree turn green. In the distance, we spot flocks of water birds that have left their footprints on the shoreline at the boat launch. We meet one of them in the card oracle, inspired by the coelbren alphabet.
