Airmids Journal: Issue 1

"As the acorns ripened and fell to the ground, the last of the nettles produced seed and the Cailleach took up her blackthorn staff, the dream of “Airmid’s Journal” was borne".

There's an amazing array of contributions, including an interview with Mary Reynolds. Nature activist and reformed landscape designer, Art and words from Votive Illustration, not to mention all the incredible art work done by Sean Fitzgerald himself. We feel very honoured to have Oein DeBhairduin, a traditionally trained herbalist, member of the native indigenous Irish Travelling community, avid lover of the wild and LGBTQIA+ advocate, contributing to this issue. We thank him for his inspiring service to his community and for the suggestion of some of the funds raised from the sale of this issue to go toward supporting the ‘Traveller Counselling Service’; a community based and culturally appropriate counselling service for the Traveller community.
