Last week, we took the time to detail the contents of the Community section of our site. This week, we’d like to explore the most recent addition to this section, and survey some of the intentions behind it. We are speaking of the Museums page, and we are delighted to offer information and links to a number of incredible spaces which curate and care for occult materials and artifacts.
A Context for Readership: On our Community Section
By now, many will have found our previous blog posts to be informative and explanatory in regards to the development of this project. Many will have also drawn upon the resources & information contained in the Publishers section of the site. We would now like to take the time to introduce another unique space within the project. Namely, the Community section.
An Interview With Clint Marsh
Clint Marsh is the editor of Fiddler’s Green Peculiar Parish Magazine, a well-loved zine among the occult and pagan community. Clint also authored The Mentalist’s Handbook. He is a journalism graduate from the University of Iowa, and has built a career as a writer, editor, and designer. Clint foudned his publishing company, Wonderella Printed, in 1993.
On the Use of Images
At this juncture in the project’s development, we have sourced and utilised a large number of images in our Publications section. This primarily includes images of book covers, although certain images displaying book excerpts are sometimes found.
Concerning this use of images, we felt it pertinent to describe our approach to use.
The Whys and the Wherefores of the Occult Library
As we mark our first week since launching The Occult Library, we’d like to address a question which many have no doubt considered. This is the question of “Why” we chose to begin such a project. While the answer to this question is multifaceted, a number of central concerns guided our efforts.

During this period, our project has been developed with eagerly devoted time and energy.
